Viaggio Winery is bringing the heat in more ways than one this week, with two events on the calendar you will not want to miss, a comedy show and a full on Bollywood night. We also have some fun outdoor activities to get you outside before the sun gets too intense, a back to school event for the kids, and a Community Spotlight today that I am genuinely so excited about. Trust me, you are going to want to read that one.

Comedy Night at Viaggio | Friday, July 17th | 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
If you need a good laugh this week, head out to Viaggio Estate and Winery for their Comedy Night! This is also a great ice breaker date to see if you share the same sense of humor (very important in a relationship!)
Tom Clark and Steph Clark (both seen on Comedy Central, HBO, and Conan) are headlining, with Holly Shaw hosting. Doors open at 6:00 pm and tickets are $25, with wine and food available for purchase. Grab your tickets through Viaggio's site before they sell out.

Lodi Boathouse This Weekend | Friday, July 17th and Saturday, July 18th | Time Varies
Looking to get out on the water this weekend? It’s a hot one, so I sure hope you are!
The Lodi Boathouse has you covered. On Friday the 17th they're running a Sunset Tour, perfect for catching golden hour out on the lake. Then Saturday the 18th it's an Intro to Kayaking class if you've been wanting to try paddling for the first time.
Spots have been going quick lately (their last kayaking class only had one left, so reserve yours soon if you want in.

Bollywood Night at Viaggio | Friday, July 31st 17:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Viaggio is turning up the vibes with a Bollywood Night featuring live music from DJ Nav at the end of this month
Think twinkling lights, great wine, and an unforgettable dance party under the stars.
Tickets are $20 per person with wine and snacks available for purchase. The Viaggio Estate is stunning and their catering is superb, so I’m sure they will knock this one out of the park! If you go, you’ll have to write in and tell us your thoughts!

Vintner’s Table at Americana House | Wednesday, July 15th | 5:00 pm
Okay if \you’re reading this today and you don’t have plans tonight, I need you to consider changing that. Americana House is hosting their July edition of Vintner’s Table, and this month’s theme is Wines of the World, hosted by Certified Sommelier Paul Marsh.
This isn’t your typical wine dinner. You get a full five course dinner from Executive Chef Robert Ito, each course built around a different pour from around the globe, with Paul walking the table through the story behind every glass. Think guided tasting meets dinner party meets a little bit of a passport stamp. It’s intimate, it’s communal, and it’s the kind of night where you leave full, a little more worldly, and knowing something you didn’t before you sat down.
Tickets run $140 per person, and these dinners have a way of filling up fast, so if tonight doesn’t work for your schedule, keep an eye out. They run one of these almost every month, and Klinker Brick is already on the books for September.

Back to School Event at Metro by T Mobile | Friday to Sunday, July 17th, 18th, and 19th | ALL WEEKEND!!!
Getting the kids ready for school?

August Paper Beaded Bracelet Workshop | Saturday, August 1st | 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Calling all my crafty kiddos!
The Lodi Community Art Center is hosting a free paper beaded bracelet class for ages 5 to 18. You'll learn how to roll paper into beads and string them into your very own bracelet to take home. It's a sweet way to spend a Saturday afternoon and totally free, so bring the little ones and let them get creative!!!

✨Community Spotlight
Lodi, we have some juicy news.
The historic Stella Mitchell building downtown just sold before it even hit the market, and the buyer is none other than Gillian Washington, CEO of Reformed Pilates Lodi.
If you know, you know. That studio out on Turner Road has grown so much since it opened, and it has built up the kind of loyal client base and instructor team that other studios only dream about. I actually started going myself these past few weeks and I am fully hooked. It is genuinely addicting. Everyone there is so warm, the instructors are knowledgeable and encouraging, and you get the added bonus of the Good and Well matcha cart set up right there. That team is always showing up for the community in the best ways too.
Now here is where it gets fun. The building downtown already has a “can you keep a secret” sign posted on it, complete with a little peek hole for the curious. I walked by this morning and caught someone peeking through it, so whoever came up with that marketing idea deserves a round of applause. It is working.
Nothing is confirmed yet, but it is hard not to speculate that this could mean a second Reformed Pilates location is coming to downtown Lodi under Gillian. If that is the case, sign me up immediately. My dream morning is already planned out: Pilates downtown, matcha from Good and Well, then straight over to Trail for coffee after. A girl can dream.
